Teach English Programme

There are fixed English classes on three days a week - every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 15.15-18.00.

Activities during these hours at Centro Conviven are dedicated specifically to teaching English. Other educational/artistic activities or life skills should be used, where possible, to engage the students to learn English, as well as providing them with a space to grow as individuals, but, should not be detrimental to the academic needs of the students.

15.15-15.30: Warm-up activities (Students will meet in the “big room” and be allocated their class accordingly)
15.30-16.30: Teach English (Group 1)
16.30-17.30: Teach English (Group 2)
17.45-18.00: Wrap up, clean up, volunteers meet (if necessary)

Children are well informed about those hours and even up to 40 children might show up. That does not mean you will have 40 kids in your class. Usually there are not more than eight children per one class and preferably every classroom has two teachers.
